I married into the Borgognoni name. My husband, Sam, is son of Richard George Borgognoni (deceased in 1993) and grandson to Sylvio Borgognoni (deceased). I know that Sylvio Borgognoni had one Brother and two other sons, August and Robert. I find all of this very interesting! I will speak with my mother-in-law to see what more she is able to remember. I am the son of Frank Pete Borgognoni ( born 1924 Tovey Illinois,Deceased 2/25/94 ), son of Pietro Borgognoni born in Lizzano Belvedere Italy( near Bologna about 1890,deceased Bulpitt, Illinois 1974 )came to America on October 11, 1906. Pietro was the son of Francesco Borgognoni born about 1864 Italy, deceased McAlester Oklahoma Sept. 14, 1907 coal mine accident ( wife Alumina Pozzi, deceased 1947 Itlay ). My grandfather Pietro had three brothers Alfredo ( Detroit US 1920 ), Renato( Porretta Terme Italy ),Bruno( France )and one
